My first day in tropic. After rainy NY it was difficult to adapt to the heat. With the help of Shelter Bay Marina’s pool I managed to complete some maintenance tasks, periodically dipping into the water.

As we were expecting Teppo and Jouko to arrive any minute now, we are repairing the fridge, changing motor oils, cleaning deck, lubricating metal parts and other fun stuff. Things went well enough and we took off for a short test drive by the coast of (in)famous town of Colón.

Nanea is due to cross the Panama channel, starting tomorrow, Saturday 16:00 local time (it’s still Friday here).
